Early 20th Century Carved Wooden Door From Lampung Sumatra, Indonesia

About the Item

A rice granary door from the Lampung, Sumatra., Indonesia c. 1900. It features a wonderful age-related patina, with strong wood textures and shades. A unique sculptural object to bring warmth to any space. This door is old with weathering that adds to its charm. The carved floral detailing and original iron handle bring this piece to life. Depth of the door is 15cm (5.9") inclusive of protruding door handle.
